Pairing crushing distortion with the weightless vocals of Hatsune Miku, kinoue64 is the brainchild of Takuto Kinoshita, whose prolific output as kinoue64 has solidified himself as one of Japan's foremost shoegaze musicians. Among the most notable of an entirely new generation of "Mikgazer" soundsmiths, Kinoshita uses rippling feedback and stratospheric vocal programming to create his own take on bedroom shoegaze all by himself. Whether its crafting sky high walls of sound on "被害者" or serrated pop perfection on "悲観情は繰り返される", Kinoshita transforms the vocals of Hatsune Miku against lead-heavy guitarwork to create an explosive sound that is visceral, colorful, catchy, and somehow... familiar.

Pressed for the first time on Baby Blue vinyl, Kinoshita beckons you into the eye of his storm, vanishing into the music alongside Miku herself -- with the tempest roaring behind you, you have no choice but to follow.
